Now about to start it's fifth season the Youth Choir has won it's class on three occasions and came second once in the annual Grantham Music Festival. Last season it beat two well-established adult choirs to come first.

Rehearsals take place at the Central College of Technology, Rushcliffe Road, Grantham (Show me where) before the main choir rehearses, on Tuesday evenings at 6.30pm, the first rehearsal being on the 16th September. The choir will be taking part in both Carol concerts this year and are again entering the Grantham Music Festival. There are also social events such as ten pin bowling planned for the near future.

We are always looking for new members so if you enjoy singing and are aged between 11 and 19 years of age please come and join them—they are a really lovely bunch of young people.

It is important to thank our generous sponsors which has meant no membership fee is charged for joining the Youth Choir. In the beginning financial support from Grantham College was invaluable and allowed us to form the Youth Choir. Last season we received sponsorship from Lincolnshire Community Foundation, Sleaford (a government grant) and also the Grantham Rotary Club.
