We are an enthusiastic group of singers numbering 70 + voices drawn from around the Grantham area and have been rehearsing and performing concerts together for over 50 years. We always welcome new (and returning) singers.

We sing a wide range of choral music and perform two concerts a year in Autumn and Spring often with the support of professional orchestras, soloists and instrumentalists all within the splendid settings of Grantham's St Wulfram's Church and ChristChurch, Finkin Street. In addition to these concerts, we host two traditional Christmas Carol nights and hold a professionally-led Saturday workshop in spring which is open to non-members so that everyone has the chance to learn some of the best choral works.

Although unauditioned, we aim to achieve a high standard of singing under our Musical Director and conductor David Humphreys.

We rehearse at the Harrowby Lane Methodist Church & Community Centre every Tuesday evening between 7.30pm and 9.15pm. As of September 2020 we are currently rehearsing online via Zoom. Please contact our secretary, Fiona Zealley, for details on how to join our online rehearsals.

As well as singing we also enjoy regular social events throughout the year.

If you enjoy singing and are interested in joining the choir, you are most welcome to come along to a rehearsal or two or contact our secretaryFiona Zealley.

Details of Grantham Choral Society's next concert are in the process of being finalised. We are currently rehearsing:
Spirit of England - Edward Elgar
Greater Love Hath No Man - John Ireland
