Can’t bear to switch on the news?  Is all the ‘stuff‘ going on around us driving you to despair…?  This was the perfect antidote - a concert of works reflecting Peace and Remembrance at this traditional time of reflection and thanksgiving.   It was an evening of thoughtful beautiful music and lyrics to reflect and re-balance our world.  GCS will be sang pieces by Elgar, Dove, Schubert, Vaughan Williams and more, supported by Sam Madden (tenor soloist) and Stephen Bullamore on the organ.  We were also joined by students from Grantham Preparatory School, one of our generous sponsors.  And all led by our charismatic, entertaining and hugely knowledgeable Musical Director, David Humphreys.
