Welcome to Grantham Choral Society
“Thanks to my singing, my well-being has never been so well!” – this is what one of our members said recently about belonging to the choir. Would you like to be able to say the same? Come along and see for yourself at one of our day-time workshops or evening rehearsals. You will be very welcome.
Would you like to sing with Grantham Choral Society? We welcome new (and returning) singers of all ages and voices. Just come to a few rehearsals and see what we do before deciding whether you would like to join. We do not hold auditions so there should be no reason not to come along and see if you enjoy it!

We will be starting rehearsals on Tuesday 10th September 2024 to start work on some jazz pieces, folk music and spirituals for our autumn concert on 23rd November 2024. We also invite you to join an introductory morning workshop on Saturday 7th September 2024 to get a feel for the music, meet other members and enjoy coffee and cake in an informal atmosphere

Our season consists of an Autumn and Spring term where we rehearse and perform a concert in each term supported by professional instrumentalists and soloists all within the splendid settings of either St Wulfram's Church or Christchurch, Finkin Street.

In addition to these concerts we host two Christmas Carol nights where we are joined by local schools and performers.

The Annual Subscription is £120 which may be paid in two or three instalments across the season if preferred. Music copies are available from the Society for hire.

For further information about becoming a member, please contact our secretary, Fiona Zealley.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
